recording session : mephisto « faces in the crowd » drums
the recording process of mephisto « faces in the crowd » started in a theater ( l’ illustre theatre / pezenas).
A couple of months before, while shooting the music video for « what can i do » in this theater, we noticed the room sound was awesome and decided to come back here to record the drums for upcoming album ,we used and abused the nice pres and EQs of a huge TAC / AMEK desk , a great collection of mics including some ribbons, and some cool outboard gears such as teletronix LA2A and ISA 220 (courtesy of yass / rockstore) .
